Spline movement controls movements of server-side controlled units (monster movement, taxi movement, etc).
Proper implementation of effects such as charge, jump, cyclic movement will rely on it.
However, need improve our states system before.
Technical changes:
1. Added linear, catmullrom and bezier3 splines which based on client's algorthims. They can be reused for proper transport position interpolation.
2. Precission increased. There are no more position desync issues since client's position calculation formulas used.
3. Now possible to move by paths with multiple points, send whole path to client.
CHECK_PACKET_SIZE was pretty error prone; once it was forgotten mangosd
could crash due to the asserts in ByteBuffer.h. That was exploitable by
malicious players.
Furthermore, there were duplicate checks: Additionally to
CHECK_PACKET_SIZE, the ByteBuffer assertions keept an eye
on not exceeding the packet boundaries - just to crash the server for
sure in such a case.
To prevent memory leaks or other undesirable states, please read in
every handler all variables _before_ doing any concrete handling.
* Allow have only A2 or H2 display ids for less strincted DB field data.
* Check model data existance for all provided display ids atserver startup.
* Avoid explicit access to creature info display fields but use display selection functions.
* Rename GetTaxiMount to more clear for returned value GetTaxiMountDisplayId.
* Check display ids in `creature_model_info` at server load.
* Provide more explicit way about spell that cast taxi flight if any
* Remove incorrect states instead error reporting in case non-taximaster flight start (cast/script)
* Remove mount_id arg from ActivateTaxiPathTo and implement support for 0 mount_id case (spell 32474)
* Implement spell 32474 (except finilize part)
* Provided Player::ActivateTaxiPathTo(uint32 taxi_path_id) function version for simplify one node to node paths use by id.
this is done by this script:
ack -c "World.h" | ack :1 | sed 's/:1//' | xargs grep -c sWorld | grep :0 | sed 's/:0//' | xargs sed -i '/#include "World.h"/d'
i didn't checked every change but gcc haven't complained
Side effect: quest taxi flights (without mount id provided) will impossible start from normal taxi master.
But for its expected starting from scripts.
